About Paddleheads

Paddleheads started as a passion project between friends who love adventure fishing. Ben and Adam met through YouTube at the end of 2019 and quickly became friends. Both of them grew up playing music, were metalheads, and shared a bunch of similar interests. They each had their own fishing channels (Adam's Reel Adventures and Conjuring Rock). After going on a lot of canoe trips and fishing trips together, they realized that they worked well together and could (hopefully) create better content if they teamed up. In 2021, they made the change, and Paddleheads was created.

In 2024, Adam and Ben returned to the drawing board. They thought that Paddleheads was a mess; the channel had too many content styles. They decided, for multiple reasons, that it was best to break these styles of content up into three distinct channels:

Paddleheads
Reviews, how-to's, and stuff about adventure fishing.
Paddleheads Adventure Fishing
Fishing adventure stories in Ontario's backcountry.
Quiet Wilderness Fishing
A quiet, practically no-talking version of Paddleheads Adventure Fishing.
